Terrae Novae – our destinations in Human and Robotic Exploration

ESA’s goals in human and robotic exploration include continued astronaut flights to the International Space Station, the first European astronaut flights beyond low Earth orbit to the lunar Gateway and continued robotic exploration of Mars. Other long-term goals include landing a European astronaut on the lunar surface by 2030 and European participation in a human mission to Mars.
